What we're building

One game out. A shelf to fill.

One game out, and the next two already have shapes. Each one is made for a particular culture rather than aimed at everyone.

Karibu Play

Six small games in one app. Two are party games where a room shares a single phone: Kenya@50, where you describe Eliud Kipchoge without saying his name, and Impostor, where one player has the wrong word. The rest are quick quizzes on places, culture, history and mental arithmetic.

More cultures inside it

You pick where you're playing from, and the game changes to match. We work with a writer from each culture so the words are theirs rather than a translation of ours. Karibu Play itself is finished — this is how it travels.

Game 02

Sketched, not built. A different game, not more games inside Karibu Play, and still small enough that two people can finish it. We're not naming it until it works.

The RPG we shelved

The studio started here: a large mobile RPG with proper graphics. It isn't cancelled, it's sequenced. It comes back when the studio can resource it properly.

We're looking for writers

If you know a culture well enough to argue about it — which names, which songs, which arguments — you'd be writing that edition rather than translating ours. Tell us what we'd get wrong.
